To the surprise of perhaps no one

Play.tm is reporting that THQ has extended their rights to the WWE video game franchise to 2014. Much speculation has been placed on what THQ and WWE next move will be. In our last interview with THQ’s Bryan Williams he did confirm that he was currently working on a WWE product.

Toymaker Jakks Pacific who partnered with THQ to develop WWE video games has not made a comment on this report as of yet. You may recall that there is much hard feelings between THQ and the WWE with Jakks. With WWE making a recent announcement that it has given THQ up to Dec 31st to make a decision to publish WWE Videogames.
