About 2 years ago, I started this game as a hobby. It still is, and much like building a model car I work on it a small piece at a time when I'm not busy running my business and spending time with my family.
Now I'm thrilled to be a part of gamingring.com. Here I will be announcing all news and will release all new patches and match types. HBW is absolutely FREE and is for educational purposes only. The main shell of the game includes the original wrestlers, a one-on-one exhibition match and a customize-your-ring feature. Then I will release patches with bug fixes and new matches such as triple threat, battle royal, ladder, hell-in-a-cell, etc. They will be released whenever I can code them.

I am proud to present the release of Homebrew Wrestling Version 4.0!
This features a new grappling system. Just like in wrestlefest, get near a wrestler to grapple. Then hit the quicktime event to win the grapple.
I've also included the first wrestler pack. I'll be adding more as well as apron packs and mat packs. But now, I'm going to be concentrating on making some XNA Xbox Live Community games. Stay tuned!

Online quick instructions (GAMINGRING version ony.)
To grapple - press "a" (for weak attacks early in the match) and press "s" (for strong attacks) as soon as your wrestler locks up with his opponent. Not before or after - timing is everything. Then you can irish whip them (with "a"), drag them around and aim them where you want (with the arrow buttons), or slam the to the ground (with "s").
